I am on my 10th calling or so it feels like since coming to this branch. Right now I am the activity days leader, I teach them in primary and I am the music chair woman/ assistant chorister, choir director, music program/ activity planner. Last week we had a tea party (without the tea of course. We let the girls make themselves dresses out of plastic tableclothes and we borrowed some hats from a fancy lady in our branch. I made punch and soup and another sister made rolls and a cake. I taught the girls about manners and we learned the proper way to set a table, spoon up soup, and say please and thank you.
We had a sleepover as a reward for all the girls reading 1st Nephi. We had a dance party and I taught all the girls how to make t-shirt vests that I saw on Pinterest. They had fun and stayed up way too late.
On Saturday night, we went down to Mayberry (the little town where Andy Griffith is from and which the town is modeled off) The Young women down there did a fundraiser 5K and Janie Collins and I ran with Majen and Callah Sechrist. We all did well and I got to run in glo-stick earrings. We all had glowsticks and there were lights all up and down the trail and disco balls under the bridge.
My time 31:59 improving steadily but not nearly as fast as I was in High school.

Roller-rinking in style
We had our first and only snow a week or two ago. The boys were up at 6 staring out the window and wanting to go out and play in the snow. We attempted to sled with our good friends the Hodnetts.
